On 01/03/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jerrod M Hise (3 Hunters Ct West, Johnson City, TN 37601, 29 years old) and charged him with one count of Felony Vandalism.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Jerrod M Hise who wanted to report a crime that he committed. By his own admission he stated that he threw a beer bottle through a church marquee sign and damaged/destroyed the sign. He stated that he damaged the church sign because it had an encoded message displayed on it that was a threatening message against the President. A Blue Moon beer bottle thrown into the sign busted through both sides of the marquee damaging the entire sign. The damage to the sign is estimated to be at a value of $600. As a result of his own admission, Mr. Hise was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond. An arraignment hearing is set for 01:30 p.m. on 01/05/15 in Washington County Court.
