On 12/17/2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m., Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Shawna L. Ray, 26, 106 Reeser Rd., Johnson City, TN. The arrest stems from an attempted traffic stop the previous night where Ms. Ray eluded police in her boyfriend’s vehicle. Ms. Ray was located at a gas station on W. State of Franklin Rd. and taken into custody. Ms. Ray was charged with Felony Evading Arrest, Reckless Driving, Driving on Suspended License, Stop Sign violations and Violation of Vehicle Registration Law. She is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $12,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County Sessions Court on 12/18/2014 at 01:30 p.m.
