On 8/28/2014, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested James Robert Vaughan of 1203 E Mountainview Rd, Johnson City, TN, a 61 year old male and charged him with three counts of Theft of Property (over $500.00). The arrest is the result of an investigation into stolen cellular telephones from two Rent-A-Center retail stores in Johnson City.
Vaughan was taken into custody at his residence and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He is being held in lieu of a $15,000.00 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2014 at 9:00 AM in Washington County General Sessions Court.
