On 8/23/2014, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Billy E. Posey Jr., w/m, 43 years old, of General Delivery for Fugitive From Justice for Crime in Another State. Officers made contact with Posey after receiving 911 calls about an intoxicated man walking in the middle of Veterans Way. Posey was found with no shirt, no shoes, and one sock on, leaning on a vehicle that did not belong to him. Officers found that Posey had three active warrants out of Lee County, Virginia. Two of the warrants are for Manufacture of Methamphetamine and one for Possession of Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Posey is being held in the Washington County Detention Center pending a bond hearing in Washington County Sessions Court on 8/25/2014 at 1:30 pm.
