On Tuesday, April 22,2014 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ronald D. Alfano, 67, and Ian M. Alfano, 43, both of 4506 Old Asheville Highway, Flag Pond, TN charging both with felony shoplifting occurring at Wal-Mart, 3111 Browns Mill Road. Loss prevention employees stopped the pair and stated an attempt to take $612.49 of merchandise was made. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center and placed under a $5,000.00 bond with an arraignment set for Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 1:30 pm.
