On 11/28/20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 21 year old Zachary D. Owen of 1500 E. Holston Ave. on the charge of Aggravated Domestic Assault.
On 11/27/20 at 10:45 p.m., officers responded to 1500 E. Holston Ave. in reference to the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who suffered injuries requiring transport to the hospital. Investigation revealed Mr. Owen to be the primary aggressor during the disturbance. Mr. Owen left the scene prior to officers’ arrival and a warrant was issued for Aggravated Assault (Domestic).
At approximately 6:00 p.m. on 11/28/20, Owen was located and arrested. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center without incident. He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on Monday 11/30/20 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
