On August 1st 2020, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ginger Sutherland and charged her with one count of Theft (possession of stolen property.) Officers received information regarding a stolen Ford Transit Van. The van was located in the area of State of Franklin and Colonial Way and a traffic stop was conducted. Officers made contact with the driver who was identified as suspect Ginger Sutherland. Ms. Sutherland was subsequently taken into custody.
Ms. Sutherland is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Her arraignment hearing is set for 08/03/2020 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County’s General Sessions Court.
