On 07/37/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Abigail Jones, 102 Fall St, 38 years old, and charged her with Criminal Simulation.
At 1:54 p.m., officers responded to Roadrunner Market, 1702 W. Market St in reference to fraud. On arrival, officers spoke with an employee who stated Ms. Jones entered the business and attempted to make a purchase. She presented a $20 bill which the employee immediately recognized as being counterfeit. Ms. Jones stood by until officers arrived and she was placed under arrest as a result of the investigation.
Ms. Jones was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of a $2,500 bond. Arraignment is set for 08/03/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
