On 7/27/20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Michael P. Boyko (General Delivery, 43 years old.) charging him with two counts of Forgery and two counts of Identity Theft.
The arrest is due to two incidents which occurred on 7/24/20 and 7/27/20 at 1185 N State of Franklin Rd, First Bank and Trust. During the two incidents the Boyko used the identity of another male to cash two fraudulent checks. Boyko was located at the bank during the second incident and subsequently arrested by Johnson City Police Officers.
Boyko was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of $40,000.00 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 07/28/20 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
