On 07/13/20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Sonya D Taylor (209 S Ford St, Pennington Gap, VA, 28 years old) and charged her with being a fugitive from justice.
At approximately 12:40 a.m., officers were speaking with Taylor on E Highland Ave in reference to an ongoing investigation. During the investigation it was discovered that Taylor had an outstanding warrant out of Gate City, VA with full extradition. Taylor was then taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
Taylor was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held with no bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 07/13/20 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
