On 01/16/2014, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested William D. Buchanan, 35 years old of 314 Norton Hollow Rd, Erwin, TN 37650, after an investigation involving a shoplifting incident at Walmart. Buchanan placed multiple items valued at $1065.72 into a shopping cart and attempted to push it from the store. Buchanan is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center under a $10,000 Bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions on 01/17/2014 at 10:30 am.
