On 6/9/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Randy K. McIntosh (100 N Roan St) 53 years old and charged him with aggravated assault.
At approximately 11:39 p.m., officers responded to the front of 216 E. Main St. where Mr. McIntosh and the victim has been separated by witnesses on scene. Officers found the victim with a laceration across his nose, a stab wound to the chest, and a stab wound to the right shoulder. Officers were told by witnesses that they saw Mr. McIntosh throw the victim’s guitar into the street. After the victim recovered his guitar, Mr. McIntosh and the victim began to argue which led to Mr. McIntosh throwing a punch at the victim. After throwing a punch, Mr. McIntosh presented a pocket knife and began stabbing at the victim multiple times. Witnesses intervened by subduing Mr. McIntosh and taking control of the knife.
Mr. McIntosh was placed under arrest and transported to Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 6/10/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
