On 6/8/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kaylee Stout (649 Poga Rd., Butler, TN. 27 years old) and charged her with identity theft, driving on a suspended license, simple possession of methamphetamine, unlawful drug paraphernalia, improper display of registration, and financial responsibility.
On 5/31/2020, at approximately 8:20 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 404 Ashe St. During the traffic stop, officers discovered that the driver, now identified as Kaylee Stout, had approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine, along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Stout was given a citation to appear in court and was released. On 6/7/2020, officer learned that Stout had given a false identification on the initial stop date and used the identity of someone else. Further investigation revealed that Stout was also driving on a suspended license on the date of the traffic stop.
On 6/8/2020, Stout was served warrant at the Washington County Detention Center, where she was being held on unrated charges. Stout’s bond for this incident is $5,000. Arraignment is set for at 1:30 p.m. on 6/9/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
