On 5-21-2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Curtis D Woodard (908 N. Boone St.) 21 years old and charged him with Aggravated Robbery.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Boone St. at Unaka Ave. in reference to a possible robbery investigation. Officers met with a female victim who stated Mr. Woodard displayed a weapon, threatened to use the weapon, and demanded property from the victim. The victim was in fear of her safety and called E911.
Officers of the department located Mr. Woodard near 908 N. Boone St. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held with no bond pending a bond hearing. A hearing is scheduled for 5/22/20 at 10:30 a.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
