On 05/21/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Christopher T. Foister, 506 Swadley Rd., Apt 5, 41 years old, and charged him with burglary.
At 12:32 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2915 W. Market St., in reference to a shoplifting incident. Mr. Foister had been observed removing a pair of boots from their box and putting them on. He then concealed the boots he had been wearing inside the box before attempting to exit the store. Investigation revealed Mr. Foister had been trespassed from Walmart on two separate occasions.
Mr. Foister was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 05/22/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
