On 05-20-2020, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Armex R. Brown (29 N Hill St. Nashville, TN 37210), 42 years old, and charged him with Identity Theft and Theft of Property (Motor Vehicle Over $10,000).
At 1904 hours, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department discovered a stolen vehicle at the Econo Lodge (205 E. Mountcastle Dr. Johnson City, TN 37601). Officers made contact with the subject who was in possession of the vehicle. The subject was then asked for their information, in which they gave a false identity, which belonged to another individual. It was later revealed that the subjects identity as Armex Brown.
Armex Brown was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. An arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 05/20/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
