On 11/21/19, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Robert Johnson (1716 Concord St, Johnson City, TN, 58 years old) and charged him with Attempted Second Degree Murder.
On 11/21/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 1716 Concord St. While officers were responding to the scene the where victim was assaulted, they were advised that the suspect shot at victim with a handgun. Victim subsequently locked herself in the bathroom where she was hiding from the suspect with her son. When officers arrived on scene, the suspect was located behind the home, refused to follow verbal commands from the officers, but was ultimately taken into custody. The revolver was also located behind the home.
Robert Johnson was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond. Arraignment set for 10:30 a.m. on 11/22/19 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
