On 11/5/19, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Sean Black (23, 2866 Highway 81, Fall Branch) on drug and traffic charges.
At 2:25 a.m., JCPD officers stopped a vehicle with an improper registration at S Roan St//Plymouth Rd. Investigation revealed Mr. Black to be driving the vehicle. Officers observed a large amount of marijuana in plain view located in the passenger seat of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 37.8 grams of marijuana, 14.9 grams of methamphetamine, and multiple drug paraphernalia items.
Mr. Black was arrested on charges of Felony Possession of Schedule VI, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia and Improper Display of Registration. Mr. Black was booked into the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $21,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment on 11/6/2019 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County Sessions Court.
