On 10/25/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested John Stevens (3506 Bondwood Cir., Johnson City, 45 years old) and charged him with aggravated assault.
On 10/25/19, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to 3506 Bondwood Cir, in reference to a physical altercation that was domestic related. Investigation revealed that Stevens had choked, pushed, and struck the victim multiple times causing significant marks and bruises. The victim did bear injuries consistent with her detailed statement in regards to the physical assault.
On 10/25/19, Stevens was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 10:30 a.m. on 10/25/19 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
