On 09/18/19, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Armon Rakel Grant (204 E Watauga Ave apartment 4 Johnson City, TN, 23 years old) and charged him with Criminal Simulation.
On 09/02/19, officers responded to Dollar General, located at 1121 N. Roan St, in reference to a customer trying to purchase items with a counterfeit $100 bill.
Later the same day, the same individual tried to get change for a counterfeit $100 bill at the Gas N Go at Food City located at 2120 S Roan St.
The individual was identified as Armon Rakel Grant.
Armon Rakel Grant was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $4,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 09/19/19 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
