On 09/01/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Bradley Necessary (21 years old) of 2701 S Roan St, Johnson City TN 37601 and charged him with one count of Aggravated Burglary and Theft of Property under $1000.
The arrest was a result of an Aggravated Burglary that occurred at 2496 Mint Hill Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed address about two televisions that were missing from the apartment. The complainant stated he and his girlfriend had not been in the apartment for a couple of weeks. When they returned on 07/25/19, their televisions were not in the apartment. Video surveillance was reviewed and Bradley Necessary and Wesley Cabe-Barber were observed walking from 2488 Mint Hill Rd behind 2496 Mint Hill. Moments later in the video, Necessary and Barber appear on video holding two televisions matching the description of the ones given by the complainant. They place them in a silver Ford Taurus in front of 2488 Mint Hill Rd. Shortly after they placed them in the vehicle they drove away in the vehicle. Once they drove away a traffic stop was performed on the vehicle and they were arrested for other charges. Further investigation produced probable cause that Wesley Cabe-Barber had committed the offense of Aggravated Burglary and Theft of Property. A warrant was obtained for his arrest
The warrant was served on Mr. Barber while he was detained at the Washington County Detention Center. He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 Bond. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on 09/03/2019 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
