On 08/29/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Dept. arrested Joseph L. Miller (109 Butterfly Lane, 37 years old) and charged him with driving on a revoked license first offense, evading arrest, two counts of felony reckless endangerment, and possession of stolen property.
At approximately 8:59 am on 07/18/2019, officers responded to Plymouth Ridge Apts. in reference to a subject who possibly needed medical attention and was sleeping in his vehicle. While officers were attempting to run the tag and verify the drivers' identity the driver backed up in a reckless manner nearly striking officers and sped away through the parking lot.
On 08/29/2019 Miller was served with the warrant at the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held on unrelated charges. For the related charges, he is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
Miller's arraignment is scheduled for 08/30/2019 at 1:30 pm in Washington County General Sessions Court.
