On 6/30/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department obtained a warrant for the arrest of Darian R. Delapp (336 Preservation Cir) charging him with aggravated robbery.
On 6/30/19, at approximately 6:50 PM, officers responded to 108 E Unaka Ave. The victim advised that Mr. Delapp, an acquaintance, and an unidentified male had come to his house and stole a firearm from him. During the robbery the victim was struck with the stock of the rifle prior to the suspects fleeing in a vehicle with Mr. Delapp as the driver.
On 8/25/19, Mr. Delapp turned himself into officers. He was placed under arrest and transported to Washington County Detention Center, where he is held in lieu of a $25,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 PM on 8/26/19 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
