On 6/30/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Glen Green (334 Cherokee Mountain Rd, 36 years old) and charged him with Aggravated Assault and Violation of Order of Protection.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a possible domestic disturbance at the victim’s apartment. Upon arrival, the victim stated that her ex fiancé, Glen Green, had entered into her home by force and was hiding in her bedroom. The victim also stated that Mr. Green grabbed and pulled her around by the arms. Officers observed bruising on the inside of her arms which was consistent with her statement. A warrant check revealed that Mr. Green had an active order of protection to have no contact with the victim.
Mr. Green was placed under arrest and transported to Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $1,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. at 7/1/19 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
