On 01/14/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jennifer Hensley (695 Gap Creek Rd. Elizabethton, TN., 27 years old) and charged her with Aggravated Burglary.
On 12/28/2018 at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Earl St. in reference to the home owner coming home from work and finding her residence in disarray and items missing. Victim stated when she left for work, Ms. Jennifer Hensley was sitting on her front porch. Upon checking the residence, items belonging to Ms. Hensley were located in the residence placing her in the home during the burglary. A short time later, Ms. Hensley was located at an address on E Myrtle Ave wearing the victim’s clothing and jewelry that was taken during the burglary. Ms. Hensley was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center for treatment and a warrant was obtained charging Ms. Hensley with Aggravated Burglary.
Ms. Hensley was located on 01/14/2019 by Jonesborough PD and the warrant was served. She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for 2/7/19 at 9:00 a.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
