On 11/19/18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kirsten Carrick (157 Holston View Dr., Elizabethton, 21 years old) and charged her with Identity Theft.
At approximately 8:40 p.m., officers conducted an investigation on suspicious activity at the Johnson City Mall, 2011 N Roan St. Police located a vehicle in the parking lot that was linked to theft and possible drug activity. During the investigation officers detained Kirsten Carrick who at the time identified herself as another subject. Officers determined that Ms. Carrick assumed another identity because she had active warrants out of the Carter County jurisdiction.
Kirsten Carrick was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 11/20/18 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
