On 03/30/18, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Thomas Evans (31 yrs old, 123 W. Millard St.) and charged him with Motor Vehicle Theft over $1,000. The investigation stems from an investigation into the theft of a 2001 Honda Accord from Walgreens, 2240 N Roan St, on 02/17/18. Thomas Evans was developed as a suspect and interviewed on 03/30/18, at which point he admitted to stealing the Accord. Mr. Evans is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $3,000 bond. He is scheduled for Arraignment in General Sessions Court on Monday April 2 at 1:30 pm.
