On 03-17-18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 29-year-old Zachary Summitt, 1206 Buffalo St., and charged him with Felony Reckless Endangerment.
The arrest occurred after officers responded to 1206 Buffalo St. in reference to a gun being fired. Upon arrival, an officer heard a second gunshot inside the apartment building. After setting up a perimeter around the area, officers were able to make contact with Mr. Summitt inside his apartment. Mr. Summitt was arrested after the investigation revealed he had recklessly used a handgun to fire two bullets into a wall while inside the apartment.
Mr. Summitt was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. A court date is pending in Washington County General Sessions Court.
