On 3/10/2018, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jacob Sheets, 23 years old, 1610 Stateline Rd, Elizabethton, on charges of Possession of Schedule VI narcotics for resale, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Possession of stolen property.
On 3/10/2018, officers located a vehicle with a stolen registration plate parked at Red Roof Inn, 210 Broyles Dr. While officers were investigating the stolen registration, they made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Jacob Sheets. A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and during the search, officers located a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Mr. Sheets was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $6000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for 3/12/2018 at 1:30 PM in Washington County Sessions Court.
