On 3/06/2018, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Joseph W Moore (269 McQueen Hollow Rd, Johnson City; 58 years old) and charged him with Altering a License Plate, Driving on a Revoked License, and Failure to Comply with Financial Responsibility.
At approximately 1:40 pm, officers observed a black Buick Century with a noticeably altered TN temporary tag in the rear window. Upon initiating a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver was identified as Joseph W Moore. Mr. Moore stated that he had altered the temporary tag and moved it from his other vehicle. Mr. Moore was also found to currently have a revoked driver license and no valid proof of insurance. Joseph W Moore is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $250 bond. His arraignment hearing is set for 03/07/2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County’s General Sessions Court.
