On 3/3/18, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Hieu Nguyen (405 E Church St, Elberton, GA, 31 years old). Nguyen was charged with 5 counts of burglary, simple possession, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
On 3/3/18, at approximately 11:20 p.m., officers of the Johnson City Police Department located a vehicle of interest at Cherry Hill Apartments (1500 Bell Ridge Rd.) The vehicle was seen on multiple videos being used in recent burglaries of nail salons in Johnson City. Officers found Hieu Nguyen in possession of the vehicle and additional evidence was seized. It was found that Nguyen was responsible for a total of 5 burglaries to nail salons within Johnson City.
Nguyen was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Nguyen is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 pm on 3/5/18 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
