On 02/27/2017, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. The driver was transported to a medical facility for treatment. It was discovered that the driver was in possession of a felony amount of methamphetamine and a firearm. The driver was identified as Richard W. Hoilman age 35 of Elizabethton, Tn. On 2/28/18 Hoilman was released from medical treatment and charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, Prohibited weapons violation and Driving on a revoked license.
Mr. Hoilman was placed under arrest transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $23,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for 3/1/2018 at 9:00 AM in Washington County Sessions Court.
