On Monday, November 27, 2017, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Clarence Duncan (811 Conklin Rd, Jonesborough, 36 years old) and charged him with Aggravated Assault.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to Volunteer Pawn, 1914 S Roan St, in reference to an irate customer pulling a knife on the staff. Upon arrival, the victim and witnesses identified the customer from prior pawn tickets as Clarence Duncan. Mr Duncan fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival and a warrant for aggravated assault was obtained and placed on file.
With the assistance of Washington County Deputies, the warrant was served in Jonesborough, Tennessee at Duncan’s residence. He is currently being held on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
