On 11/25/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Stacy Overley (418 N. Broadway St., Knoxville, TN., 45 years old) and charged her with criminal simulation.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation where a fake check was passed at 402 Roy Martin Rd. on 9/14/17. Through the course of the investigation, Overley was identified as the suspect in the incident.
On 11/25/17, Stacy Overley was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 11/27/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
