On Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 39 year old, Chaka Poland, 604 Pardee St. Johnson City, TN was arrested
by officers of the Johnson City Police Department. Poland was charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault. The
arrest stems from officers responding to a call at 604 Pardee St. The victim stated that
Poland had attacked him with a kitchen knife during an argument. The victim had a large laceration to his arm,
as well as a small cut to his neck and back. The victim was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center where
he was treated and released. Poland was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is
being held in lieu of $5,000 bond. She is schedule to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on
November 27, 2017, at 1:30PM.
