On 9/13/13, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department Criminal Drug Interdiction Unit arrested Leslie F. Mcfarland Jr. (615 Clairmont Rd, 27 years old) and charged him with possession of Sch III for Resale and Going Armed with Intent to Commit a Dangerous Felony.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., officers observed a blue Chevrolet Caprice Classic speeding on Watauga Rd and initiated a traffic stop for the offense. Upon investigation of the stop it was found Mcfarland was armed with a pistol and was possessing Sch III narcotics.
Mcfarland was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $20,000.00 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:45 p.m. on 9/13/13 in Washington County General Sessions Court
