On 07/12/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Anna Maria Stanley (580 County Home Rd. Blountville, TN, 50 years old) and charged her with one count of Theft of Property over $10,000.00.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that was file by the complainant who stated that Stanley was an employee of their company and had been embezzling funds from the business for several months.
Ms. Stanley came to the Washington County Detention Center and turned herself in once she learned of the warrant. Ms. Stanley is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 07/13/17 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
