On 7/11/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Keith Fitzgerald (2409 Park Ave, Johnson City, TN, 48 years old) and charged him with burglary and theft of property over $1,000.
On 7/8/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to an outbuilding burglary in the 2400 block of Park Ave. The victim reported that someone had removed the latch on the building and stole numerous items. Prior to noticing the burglary, the victim saw Keith Fitzgerald carrying a shelf into his residence that looked like a shelf from the outbuilding. The victim and officers later discovered the victims lawn mower pushed under the porch at the residence of Keith Fitzgerald.
On 7/11/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department made contact with Fitzgerald and searched his residence. Officers located more items inside his residence that the victim had reported stolen. Keith Fitzgerald was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 7/12/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
