On 3/21/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jason Boyd Leffew (6505 Rock Bridge Ln., Knoxville, 45 years old) and charged him with (2 cts.) burglary and (2 cts.) theft over $10,000.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation into two burglaries that occurred at Robinson’s Animal Clinic in Gray, on 5/24/15 and 8/23/15. Leffew and an accomplice were developed as suspects who broke into the business and took more than $10,000 worth of animal medication.
On 3/21/17, Leffew was served with a warrant on these charges at the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on similar charges. A bond was set at $40,000. Arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on 3/22/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
