On 03/20/2017, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Tommy D. Osborne (General Delivery, Johnson City, TN 37604, 43 years old). Tommy D. Osborne was charged with Evading Arrest (Felony) and Driving on Revoked Licenses (Multiple Offences).
On 03/21/2017 at 19:37 hours, Officers were looking for a red Pontiac Grand AM with two occupants that was a possible stolen vehicle and involved in a possible kidnapping. I observed a red Pontiac that fit the description traveling northbound on S. Roan St. The Officer attempted to stop the vehicle near S. Roan St. and Plymouth Rd. The vehicle continued to travel until reaching the Family Dollar parking lot off S. Roan St. The vehicle then continued through the parking lot and turned left on S. Roan St. The Officer continued to pursue the vehicle and it turned right on Quarry Rd. The vehicle traveled a short distance and came to a stop on Quarry Rd. and Mr. Osborne bailed out of the vehicle. After a brief foot pursuit, Mr. Osborne was taken into custody. A N.C.I.C. check showed that Mr. Osborne was driving on a revoked Tennessee driver’s license.
Police arrested Mr. Osborne and he was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where his bond was set at a total of $11,000 and an arraignment was set for 3/21/2017 at 1:30 pm.
