On 3/5/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 36 year old Charles Griffith of 222 E Maple Street and charged with him with being a fugitive from justice.
On 3/5/17, at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers responded to the suspects address. Information had been provided that Mr. Griffith had active warrants out of Florida for two separate felony charges. Griffith was seen outside of the address at which point officers were able to take him into custody without incident. Griffith was transported to the Washington County Detention Center to await extradition. He is scheduled for arraignment at 1:45 p.m. on 3/6/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
