On 2/27/17 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Michael Story, (34 years old), of 236 Hugh Story Rd, Limestone, TN 37681. Mr. Story was charged with Burglary and Simple Assault. At approximately 22:30 hours, officers were dispatched to 2819 Emory Ln Lot #42 (McKinley Trailer Park) concerning a disturbance. Officers made contact with Mr. Story inside the residence. As a result of the investigation, officers discovered Mr. Story had kicked in the front door, assaulted two occupants of the home, and removed a victim’s gold chain. During a search of Mr. Story’s person, officers recovered a gold chain from the person of Mr. Story . Mr. Story was placed under arrest for Burglary (One count)/Simple Assault (Two counts) and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Mr. Story is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. An arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m., on 2/28/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
