On Wednesday, February 22, 2017 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ralph M. Roberts, 39, 651 Dale Street Lot 31, Kingsport, TN on a charge of Sexual Battery, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication.
The arrest is the result of an investigation that started at 1:28pm, at the Best Western, 2406 North Roan Street where Mr. Roberts is accused of assaulting an employee of the hotel and then leaving the area. At 1:40pm officers located Mr. Roberts in the
area of Princeton Rd. and N. Roan St. and after a brief foot chase he was arrested. Mr. Roberts was transported to the Washington County Detention Center and placed under a $7,000.00 bond. An arraignment for Mr. Roberts is set for the Washington
County General Sessions Court on February 23, 2017 at 1:30.
