On 01/29/2017, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Khalil O Scott (612 Pactolas Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604-4426, 21 years old). Khalil O Scott was charged with Aggravated Burglary and Felony Vandalism.
On 01/29/2017 at 15:23 hours, officers were dispatched to 2 Perry Cir, Apt 3 in reference to a burglary that occurred during the morning hours. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim at her apartment. The victim stated that she stayed with a friend the previous night, however she had witnesses that were at the apartment at approximately 5:20 am when the burglary happened. The witnesses stated that Mr. Scott busted out the front window then entered the apartment through the front door. Witnesses stated that Mr. Scott began to break various items in the apartment and also caused damage to the walls. Witnesses stated that Mr. Scott then proceeded to the victim’s vehicle and began to kick it. Mr. Scott then left the scene in his vehicle with the victim’s dog. The estimated damage to the victim’s apartment and vehicle was over $1000. After investigating the scene, officers went to Mr. Scott’s residence and took him into custody. Scott was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where his bond was set at a total of $30,000.00. An arraignment was set for 1/30/2017 at 1:30 pm in Washington County General Sessions Court.
