On 01/27/17 at approximately 1930 hours officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Heather L Gray, 37 yoa, of 904 Huffine Rd, Johnson City, TN charging her with Identity Theft. Officers responded to 904 Huffine Rd in reference to a unwanted guests. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the suspect, and attempted to identify her. She did not have identification on her, so she provided officers with the name and date of birth of her fiancé’s ex-wife. During the investigation it was determined that she had provided false information. After discovering her true identity, it was discovered that she had an active warrant form Washington County Sheriff.
The suspect were then placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where they were being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. The suspect is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on 01/30/17 at 1330 hours to be arraigned.
