On 1/26/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Alexander Miracolo (444 Summit Dr., 18 years old) and charged him with 18 counts of auto burglary, 2 counts of theft over $500, and 8 counts of theft under $500.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation into multiple auto burglaries in the areas of Englewood Blvd, Sanford Dr. and Prescott Dr. in Johnson City on 9/29/16. Various vehicles were entered without permission and property was taken. Several others vehicles in this area were ransacked. Miracolo and another male were stopped in Miracolo’s vehicle as they left the area. Various “tools of the trade” associated with the burglary of motor vehicles was located in Miracolo’s car.
On 1/26/17, Miracolo was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $198,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 10:00 a.m. on 1/27/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
