On 1/19/17 at 4:30 p.m., the Johnson City Police Department arrested James Fair (1821 E Fairview Ave, 60 years old) charging him with Theft of Property over $500, Vandalism over $500, two counts of Criminal Trespassing, and Theft of Property under $500.
On 11/17/2016, E Luke Greene and Omni Source reported thefts of copper from their properties. Investigations led detectives to discover Fair cut the chain link fence to gain access to the properties and stole various copper and metals from the businesses.
On 1/19/17, Fair was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $18,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 10:30 a.m. on 1/20/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
