On 11/30/16, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Samantha Sue Robinson (213 E. Fairview Ave., 23 years old) and charged her with Auto Burglary and Theft under $500.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation into an auto burglary that occurred at 301 Jay St. on 9/10/16. The victim found her vehicle had been entered during the night and her wallet was missing. The investigation led to the identification of Robinson as the suspect.
On 11/30/16, Robinson was taken into custody at the Carter County Detention Center, where she was being held on unrelated charges, and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is now being held in lieu of an $11,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 12/1/16 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
