On 11/02/2016 at 22:50 hours, Officers responded to the Johnson City Medical Center in reference to a report of a domestic aggravated assault that occurred at The Quality Inn, 1900 S Roan St Johnson City, TN. The victim told police that her boyfriend, Barry Fortner from Chuckey TN, had physically assaulted her. The suspect was later arrested when he returned to The Quality Inn in the early morning hours. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where is he currently being held on a $5000.00 bond
