On 11/01/16 at approximately 2:35 pm., officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Claude Alan Hardin Jr., age 19, 1202 Plantation Dr., Johnson City, Tenn., charging him with 1 count of aggravated assault domestic.
Officers responded to 1202 Plantation Dr., on a male subject with a baseball bat who had threatened his father. Upon arrival, officers made contact with both parties involved in the front yard. After an investigation, it revealed that the victim was assaulted by his son with the baseball bat. The victim said that they got into an argument over his son smoking marijuana in his room. Victim said his son grabbed the baseball bat and struck him in the leg. Claude Alan Hardin Jr is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond. His arraignment is set for 11/02/16 at 1:30 in General Sessions Court.
